Adding NekoHtml to project results in error during run-app

I've added the following line to BootConfig.groovy:
compile ('net.sourceforge.nekohtml:nekohtml:1.9.15') Now my project will not run. Anyone know how to resolve this? Here's the stacktrace:

FYI - I resolved my issue by using TagSoup instead of NekoHtml

yes, per my example the other day on geb with release

added excludes "xml-apis" to the neko dependency did not resolve the problem. I'll look into creating an example app this weekend that duplicates the issue and submit a JIRA for it (if I'm successful).

This thread is surely well outdated but today I spent a couple of hours battling this

As it pointed out here http://jira.grails.org/browse/GPEXPORT-18?focusedCommentId=69307&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-69307 one can manually list in BuildConfig.groovy all modules that refer to xmlbeans and explicitly exclude xmlbeans from all of them like compile (group:'org.apache.poi', name:'poi', version:'3.7') { excludes 'xmlbeans' } compile (group:'org.apache.poi', name:'poi-ooxml', version:'3.7') { excludes 'xmlbeans' } Cheers, I.S.
