Documentation, where to put?

Stephan.Schmidt
Where to put this?

Using other databases

Using MySQL

Download the Java MySQL driver from:

http://www.mysql.com/products/connector/j/

Unpack the archive and copy the mysql*.jar (not the debug jar) to lib
in your grails application directory.

Change the ApplicationDataSource to using your own values:

class ApplicationDataSource {
    @Property boolean pooled = true
    @Property String dbCreate = "create-drop"
    @Property String url = "jdbc:mysql://localhost/yourDB"
    @Property String driverClassName = "com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"
    @Property String username = "yourUser"
    @Property String password = "yourPassword"
}

   PRESS ON. Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
   Talent will not; nothing in the world is more common than
unsuccessful
   men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a
proverb.
   Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
