Gorm extensions gone after upgrading to 2.3.6 (from 2.1.5)

smithimage
Hello there!
I have just upgraded from 2.1.5 (upgraded the tomcat and hibenate plugin) and I get this exception when I deploy my war to a tomcat container.
If I run "run-war" i get similar exceptions (having to do with gorm extensions).
Further information that could be useful is that my domain classes is packaged in a separate jar (using JPA) and mapped with the grails-app/conf/hibernate.cfg.xml like so:
?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<!DOCTYPE hibernate-configuration PUBLIC
	'-//Hibernate/Hibernate Configuration DTD 3.0//EN'
	'http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-configuration-3.0.dtd'>

<hibernate-configuration>

	<session-factory>
        <mapping class="com.smithimage.idive.model.ExternalIdentityImpl" />
        more mappings...
</session-factory>
</hibernate-configuration>
Any idea on where I can start looking would be appreciated!

Graeme Rocher-2
Did you add the hibernate plugin as dependency in your BuildConfig?
And if so what version?

Re: Gorm extensions gone after upgrading to 2.3.6 (from 2.1.5)

smithimage
I finally found what caused this issue.
Apparently there is a bug causing the hibernate.cfg.xml to be overwritten during build, which in turn makes hibernate mappings to dissapear.

Re: Gorm extensions gone after upgrading to 2.3.6 (from 2.1.5)

Hello,
I'm using Grails 2.3.6 with hibernate 3.6.10.8
I'm running into this issue while using dynamic methods on a domain class. For example Test.get(id) throws me: IllegalArgumentException
at grails.plugin.cache.web.filter.PageFragmentCachingFilter.doFilter(PageFragmentCachingFilter.java:189)
        at grails.plugin.cache.web.filter.AbstractFilter.doFilter(AbstractFilter.java:63)

        at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:662)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Preethi.
