Gradle Grails plugin run-app problem

I've logged an issue against the gradle grails plugin about a week ago (see here), where

gradle grails-run-app

does not reload changes to controllers and services. This occurs on version 1.1-SNAPSHOT of the plugin but worked ok on version 1.0. I need to use 1.1 because of some improvements in dependency configurations.

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it? Are the authors reading this? :)
