Subject says it all – wondering if it’s just me or if other people are seeing grails.org just hang forever.

It is not just you. I am no longer able to run an app that is trying to pull dependencies from grails.org. -- b On Apr 25, 2012, at 3:31 PM, Brian Saville wrote:

You can use the --offline param if you already have your dependencies resolved. grails run-app --offlineColin Harrington [hidden email] On Wed, Apr 25, 2012 at 2:40 PM, Joshua Kehn <[hidden email]> wrote:

Unfortunately not. Still same errors messages. But maybe this is a different problem that is totally unrelated and just happened to show up at the same time (because i changed by BuildConfig just during the outage...)
See http://grails.1312388.n4.nabble.com/compile-dependency-fails-with-quot-bad-organization-quot-error-td4588012.html for more details. Thanks Regards Peter |

Is grails.org down again?
Is anyone also having troubles connecting to grails.org? I've not been able to connect now for at least a day (see "site unreachable"). Thanks, Rob |

Hi
Server is still down ----- Gateway Timeout Server error - server 208.91.2.18 is unreachable at this moment. Please retry the request or contact your adminstrator. ----- PS for me: download user guide :) MarcDeXeT |

I don't suppose all of these issues are due to the current shift to ipv6?

Still suffering from DoS attacks ?

Slow progress on this is a bit worrisome, TBH.
Going over US proxy VPN works fine. While going bare from EU does not seem to reach grails.org. Did grails team decide to drop at least some of the european devs? Cheers, Alex. The site itself is not down, there is an apparently network issue
impacting certain ISPs (and hence only certain users in certain geographical zones), our network team is investigating. I really apologize for the delay but it appears to be proving tricky to track down. In the meantime if you are having trouble resolving plugins you can use: mavenRepo "http://repo.grails.org/grails/plugins" In BuildConfig.groovy (make sure you disable grailsCentral()) Cheers On Tue, Jun 5, 2012 at 1:50 PM, Alex Shneyderman <[hidden email]> wrote: > Slow progress on this is a bit worrisome, TBH. > > Going over US proxy VPN works fine.
