How to build Grails jars?

elvanor
Hello,

I need to build

grails-datastore-gorm-hibernate-2.0.2.RELEASE

as I have a small patch to one of the files there.

Previously (on Grails 2.0.4, the version we used before) the source file was on the main Grails source tarball but that's no longer the case.

The tarball I downloaded contains only the source files, not any build system. How can I build the corresponding jar out of this download? I googled a lot but could not find any useful information about build instructions.

Please point me to the right document.

Regards

Jean-Noel

Hi Jean-Noel,

Can't you just clone the git repo and build from there?

https://github.com/grails/grails-data-mapping/tree/master/grails-datastore-gorm-hibernate-core

Greets,

Erik

I would really prefer to use a release tarball. Or at least a tag defined in Git to identify the release.
