Hi ,
I tried to publish the plugin as per the instructions given here http://grails.org/Creating+Plugins. I use plugin location> grails publish-plugin --no-scm but It is asking for Subversion username/password then i entered grils.org credentials. but it throw exception. Hi Rocker,
I published the plugin and it works fine. but I want to make few changes in issue repository path and minor corrections. So I tried to publish the plugin but it throw the below issue. I think i have only one time publish permissions. can you grant me permissions to publish any no of times.
Plugin packaged grails-jmesa-2.0.4.zip | Generating POM file.....
| POM generated: F:\jmesa\jmesa\target/pom.xml Publishing to Grails Central
Publishing to http://grails.org/api/v1.0/publish/jmesa/2.0.4 | Error Error executing script PublishPlugin: java.lang.RuntimeException: Server returned error deploying to Grails central repository: 403 (Use --stacktrace to see the full trace)
Thanks

For starters it's not "Rocher" or "Rocker", it's "Graeme", i.e. Graeme Rocher, i.e. the Grails project lead.
If all you want to do is edit one or more properties that appear on the http://grails.org/plugin/jmesa page you can edit those in the browser - just click the Edit Plugin button and change whatever values you want. If you need to do more than that, you can't re-release a plugin version, even for a trivial change. You need to increase the version and then run the publish-plugin script again. Burt

Thanks Burt,
Yes, for any document related I can edit but other than that i need to publish it again. I'll take care of it. thanks again for your info. Something along the lines of "plugin version has already been published". Which version of the plugin are you using? He meant version 2.0.3 of the Release plugin - it was updated to add more helpful error messages.
