Team Grails Forum,
I do not know if I should post this question in this forum. I have a need to switch to a diff machine. So on the new machine I installed STS as the original one BUT the STS on the new setup; in the Project Explorer, the folders for Domain, Controller, and Service are missing. Most of the other folder like view, scripts, plugins are there. I can still use ctrl-shift-R to get to the classes. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how I can get the missing folders to show up? If I am posting this in the wrong forum, may I ask if you could point me to the right one? Cordially, Entaro Adun. |

Sorry, never mind. I deleted the project and re-imported it. Still, it would be good to know why those folders disappeared in the first place, even though they are still on disk.

If you are in grails perspective those folder are hidden. Switching to Java perspective will aloow to see them.

window -> show view -> navigator helps staying in the grails perspective :)

Ms. Krych,
Thank you for your kind response, Would you know how I may recover from that should there be a next time; without deleting the project and "re-importing" it? The java perspective works but somewhat disorienting after working with Grails perspective for a while. Also, the feeling that something is not quite right just gnaw at the back of my mind. ;-) Cordially, Entaro Adun. |
