Im having some issues where resolving dependencies takes forever. So to speed up things im trying to mirror grails and all its dependencies and plugins to my local nexus installation. |

Hi,
have you found a solution to mirror / clone the Grails plugin repository to a local installment? Best regards, Joerg |

This should be trivial with Artifactory by simply setting up http://repo.grails.org/grails/plugins/ as a virtual repository

Hi,
thanks for the tip. However, it looks like that we cannot clone the repository in one step (it might work with the commercial replication add-on) as Artifactory will only pull a plugin on-demand from the Grails repository and only then can deliver cached plugins.
Currently, I'm testing if I can create a Grails project with all plugins (via STS) to seed the Artifactory - this should result in an Artifactory with all plugins in the latest released version that can be disconnected from the Internet to serve the plugins in-house.
Best regards, Joerg
