What about a JCR plugin?

bgoetzmann
One day I found some FishEye's pages about a Grails JCR plugin (JCR for Java Content Repository, JSR-170/JSR-283).
What is the status about this plugin?

Cheers.

Bertrand.

I remember sometimes ago a discussion about some flagship projects
like "idea box", CMS, ...
Is there something initiated on the CMS side ?

Cheers

I actually asked about this around 2 months ago... Graeme stated it's
in a somewhat 'pre-alpha' state, which is pretty accurate. SVN will
not work without some effort. I eventually got it to work (there are
some issues with the way it handles queries and sessions), it has some
limitations that I simply don't have time to resolve right now. I want
to get back at it after things slow down here, but if you would like I
can give you my edits so that you can take it from there.

I would like to see it!  I'm investigating what it would take to have this as a grails plugin.  Why did Graeme stop development on this?  Was it due to higher priorities or was there something wrong with the current implementations (Jackrabbit, etc).
