hi,
just as info, I released a new grails plugin last night, to be able to run grails as a standalone application, without a tomcat or jetty installed. Basically its an executeable war file. Internally the plugin uses jetty7 further information: http://www.grails.org/plugin/jetty-standalone regards gert -- ------------------------------------------------------------ Lead Developer - Fiehnlab, UC Davis gert wohlgemuth [hidden email] work: http://fiehnlab.ucdavis.edu/staff/wohlgemuth phone: (530) 383-0974 coding blog http://codingandmore.blogspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------ you're "a long time dead", as they say --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email |

Hi Gert. How about http://www.grails.org/plugin/standalone? Is it
just a matter of choice between Tomcat or Jetty? BTW, for non webapps: http://www.grails.org/plugin/batch-launcher Best regards, Daniel. wohlgemuth wrote: > hi, > > just as info, I released a new grails plugin last night, to be able to > run grails as a standalone application, without a tomcat or jetty > installed.
