do validators conflict with class reloading?

After reloading the (simple) Author domain class, the
create view throws:

Message: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Argument [Author@1fe910c] is
not an instance of [class Author] which this validator is configured for
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Argument [Author@1fe910c] is
not an instance of [class Author] which this validator is configured for
Class: AuthorController
At Line: [65]
Code Snippet:
65: if(author.save()) {
66: redirect(action:show,id:author.id)

Ah yes will probably have to re-configure the validators on class reload
